How the King & His Court Legacy Initiative collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.

Last updated: June 17, 2026

The King & His Court Legacy Initiative (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to preserving more than a legacy — we’re committed to preserving your trust. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit king.visoratechnologies.com, how we use it, and the choices you have about it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly — and a small amount automatically through standard web technology.

Information you provide

  • Donations & Support: When you give to the Legacy Award or our productions, we collect your name, email, phone number, mailing address, gift amount, and any dedication or honoree details you choose to add. Payment card details are entered directly on PayPal’s secure servers — we never see or store your card number.
  • Limited Edition Reservations & Shop Orders: Name, email, billing/shipping address, phone, and order details.
  • Book Signing Tour: Name, email, ZIP code, and event preferences when you reserve a seat or request a stop.
  • Legacy Award Nominations: The nominee’s name and story, your contact information, and any supporting materials you upload.
  • Contact & Partnership Inquiries: Name, email, organization, and the message you send us.
  • Share Your Story: Any photos, memorabilia, or written memories you submit about Eddie Feigner and the King & His Court.
  • Email Sign-Ups: Email address (and name, if provided) when you join our updates list.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited — via standard server logs and analytics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, used for site functionality, remembering preferences, and measuring engagement.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you share with us to:

  • Process donations, orders, reservations, and nominations.
  • Send you a receipt, confirmation, or update related to something you signed up for.
  • Respond to inquiries, partnership requests, and stories you share.
  • Recognize and honor donors and storytellers (with their permission).
  • Send occasional updates about the tour, the book, the Legacy Award, and other initiative milestones — only if you’ve asked to hear from us.
  • Protect the site from fraud, spam, and abuse.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements (especially for charitable giving).

3. Payment Processing & PayPal

All donations and purchases are processed through PayPal. When you complete a transaction:

  • Your payment card number, expiration date, and security code are submitted directly to PayPal — not to us.
  • We receive a confirmation that the transaction succeeded, along with a transaction ID and the donor information you entered into our form.
  • For monthly gifts, PayPal stores a recurring payment authorization on your behalf. You can cancel it any time from your PayPal account or by contacting us.

PayPal’s privacy practices are governed by their own policy at paypal.com/us/legalhub/privacy-full.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these specific situations:

  • Service providers who help us run the site — payment processing (PayPal), email delivery, web hosting, and analytics. They’re only allowed to use your data to perform the work we’ve asked them to do.
  • Shipping partners for fulfilling book and merchandise orders.
  • Legal & safety — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our visitors or the initiative.
  • Public recognition — donor or storyteller names may appear in published materials only with explicit permission.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies for essential site functionality (like keeping items in your cart or remembering you’re logged in) and to understand which parts of the site are most useful to visitors. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site — especially checkout and account features — may not work properly without them.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as we need it to deliver what you asked for and meet our legal obligations:

  • Donation and purchase records are retained for at least seven years for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Story submissions are kept as part of the historical archive of the King & His Court legacy unless you ask us to remove them.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we have about you.
  • Request a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct or update it.
  • Ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements).
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any message we send you.
  • Cancel a recurring monthly donation at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@kingandhiscourt.org.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — HTTPS encryption, secure server hosting, restricted internal access, and PayPal for payment data — to protect your information. No system on the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to keep your information safe.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Legacy Initiative is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

10. Third-Party Links & Embedded Content

Our site may include videos, articles, and links to other websites (including social media, news outlets, and historical archives). Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies before sharing information with them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — if we add new features, work with new partners, or respond to changes in the law. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
